Reflect and find an answer to the following questions:

·         A good characteristic of a student is to develop independent study. Would it be possible for you? How, what will you do to get it?

·         Do you think the idea of bringing the outside life of students into the classroom (family, likes, worries, etc.) is okay?  How can this be done?

Reflect on these comments from teachers. Which do you agree with and why?

1.      I like my class to be organized and in control. I think my main roles are to inform and manage. That’s what the learners want.

2. My role is to enable the learners to learn for themselves, so I involve everyone and try not to control the learners and the activities too much.

3.      I teach young children. Most of the time, I am more of a parent than a teacher. But, in my opinion, the most important teacher roles are planning and organizing, especially with children.

1. Post one:  Write a one-paragraph letter to Juliet about a real or an imaginary romantic or family problem. Make sure you practice clauses with what.

2. Post two: Take the role of club secretary. Read a letter of one of your classmates and ask the writer about the problem he/she has written about by using as many question types as possible: Wh - subject and object questions, negative questions, question tags, and indirect questions.
