Cross arms
Crossing your arms is a common gesture that can send different messages depending on the situation. It can show that someone is feeling defensive, uncomfortable, or even bored. Imagine a student sitting in class during a long lecture.

Show surprise
Showing surprise is a strong and immediate reaction, often shown with widened eyes, a dropped jaw, or hands covering the mouth. Think of a boy opening a gift he didn’t expect.

Clench fists
Clenching fists is often a sign of anger, frustration, or readiness to defend oneself. Imagine a child on the playground who just had their toy taken away.

Raise your voice to be heard
Raising your voice shows the need to stand out or express something strongly. It could come from excitement, frustration, or urgency. Imagine a student in a noisy classroom trying to get the group’s attention for a presentation.

Nod
Nodding your head up and down means “yes” or agreement. Imagine a student being asked if they understood the lesson. They don’t speak, but they nod slowly.
