  1. Stretching their legs
After sitting for a long time or in a really long car ride, people often step outside and walk around a bit, stretching their legs. They move slowly, roll their shoulders or shake out their legs. This shows that they’re feeling stiff and tired and want to feel more comfortable in a more natural position.

  2. Staring at nothing
In class, sometimes someone is sitting at their desk, eyes open but not focused in anything in particular, just staring at nothing. This usually means they’re daydreaming or thinking about something else, not really paying attention at class (a teacher's nightmare).

  3. Bursting into laughter
At a party or in a group of friends, someone suddenly cover their mouth, throw their head back, and laugh really loud. They’re making funny faces or wiping tears from their eyes. This shows that they think something is super funny and feel really happy.

  4. Walking on a treadmill
At the gym, I often walk on a treadmill, I have a focused face, swinging arms, and headphones in. My body language says I am trying to stay healthy and feel motivated about taking care of my health.

  5. Chatter
In a café, a group of friends are sitting close together, leaning in, nodding, laughing, and talking quickly. Their hands are moving a lot too. This body language shows they’re enjoying the conversation, feeling relaxed and friendly sharing their ideas.
