1. Nod

To nod is a body expression that involves moving the head up and down to express agreement or affirmation. For example, in a casual conversation, if a person asks their friend for approval to go to the cinema together, the friend might nod their head instead of saying 'yes'.

2. Gaze into the distance

Gazing into the distance occurs when a person looks at something without focusing on a specific object, often lost in thought or reflecting on something important. For example, a student may gaze into the distance in the class, usually when looking out the window and not paying attention.

3. Showing surprise

Showing surprise is a facial gesture expressed in response to an unexpected situation, usually shown with wide eyes and slightly open mouth. For example, in a park, a person is walking around and then stops in disbelief when witnessing an unexpected situation, a couple fighting, with the girl slapping the boy.

4. Wave to go away

This gesture is typically used to say goodbye when a person is leaving a place. For instance, when friends are heading home, they say goodbye while waving their hands.

5. Wink

It is a gesture usually used to show a shared secret, an understanding between the two individuals, or affection to someone. For example, in a casual conversation between friends, a wink can be used to cover up a lie; the person winks to show to their friend that they are only pretending to be truthful. Also, someone might wink at another person to show interest.
