The So Few Rides, So Many Steps project is a little bit conventional and lasts one month. It’s all about changing just one habit: how we commute. The main idea is to stop using means of transportation like cars or motorcycles for 30 days and start walking, biking, or using public transportation that doesn’t harm the planet too much. This way, we produce less CO₂, which helps protect nature and animals.
The project is split into four weeks. In the first week, we pay attention to how often we commute using electric or motorized transportation. In the second week, walking becomes something we do every day. In the third week, we try not to use any vehicles at all. And in the last week, we reflect on what we did, how we felt, and how much pollution we avoided.
At the end, we realize that by taking the taxi or the bus less often, we are helping the environment and improving our way of living too.
