The Rooted CutLerly is a No Impact Experiment which main goal is to create biodegradable utensils from rice husks that include sunflowers seeds. It is based on the idea of collecting rice husks from different parts of the Coastal Region such as Milagro and Samborondón to avoid contamination due to so much production of rice in Ecuador. Just from listening to this proposal, I’m aware of the great change it will do to our environment and ecosystems because it is such an innovate way to approach reduction of contamination by plastics. To sum up everything, this project is a completely valid strategy that is being implemented in most parts of the world and that is sustainable enough for the preservation of the planet.
