1. A good characteristic of a student is to develop independent study. Would it be possible for you? How, what will you do to get it?

Yes, I believe developing independent study is not only possible for me but also essential to becoming an effective English teacher. A student could use independent study to help them take ownership of their learning, reflect on their progress, and explore topics beyond the classroom. To achieve this, I plan to set clear study goals, use online and library resources, and maintain a personal learning schedule. I will also stay curious and engage in activities like reading English literature, writing reflections, and watching English-language media to build both language and teaching skills at the same time.

2. Do you think the idea of bringing the outside life of students into the classroom (family, likes, worries, etc.) is okay? How can this be done?

Yes, I think it’s not only okay but also important to bring students’ outside lives into the classroom. When students feel that their personal experiences are valued, they are more motivated and engaged in learning. This can be done by creating a safe and respectful environment where students feel comfortable sharing maybe giving freedom for the topics of activities like personal writing assignments, discussions about real-life issues, role-plays and projects based on students’ interests or family traditions can help connect classroom learning with their lives. It’s important to always respect boundaries and make participation voluntary, but with care and sensitivity, this approach can build stronger teacher-student relationships and promote meaningful learning.
