2. Personally, I don't think it's a good idea to bring students' outside lives into the classroom. While it's important to be understanding and recognize that students have lives outside of school, it's also essential to learn to separate these things from academics to avoid them becoming problems for the students, their classmates, or even us as teachers. I believe that as a teacher, you can guide and advise students, and when necessary, offer support and show trust so that students feel comfortable asking for help. However, it's important to learn to keep these two aspects separate, without ignoring them, as personal, academic, and professional development should be balanced.
