Following this initial reading, the lecture component allows for further elaboration and comprehension . During the lecture, I employ a note-taking method, focusing on essential consonants and abbreviating words to maximize efficiency. To capture supporting information, I utilize symbols and arrows to represent details and examples. To synthesize the information, I conclude by recording a 60-second audio in which I start reading my notes and stablishing connection by using some phrases such as, "The reading discusses the topic of…", “The professor illustrates this concept by offering some examples” and the final phrase to conclude is “…and this is how the professor illustrates the connection between the reading and the lecture”.
