My strategy for preparing for Speaking Task 4 is to read and understand the reading thoroughly, and to jot down the main ideas to help me better explain the topic. While with the lecture, I try to concentrate and take notes on the most relevant ideas. For this, I prefer to use contacts and symbols to help me write down notes more quickly because time is short.
