University students must understand the connection between reading and listening because it helps them learn and think better. Sometimes, the lecture gives extra details or a different opinion from the reading. This makes students analyze the topic, not just memorize it.

For example, one time, I read an article about social media in class, and then the teacher gave a lecture that said social media also has many dangers. At first, the reading only discussed the good parts. By listening to the lecture, I understood both sides of the topic.
