Hi Miguel, I like how you point out that we need to notice whether the lecture agrees or disagrees with the reading. That’s just like my psychology example: the textbook explained classical conditioning, but in class the professor gave real-life examples and said parts of the book were outdated. By comparing the book and the lecture, I understood the topic better and wrote a stronger essay. You mention that this mixes facts (from the text) and opinions (from the professor). I think doing this also helps us think more critically and question ideas, which is useful both in university and in our future jobs.
