In my opinion, using alternative editorials to support TOEFL preparation can be helpful, as long as we don’t rely on them completely. I think they offer a good variety of exercises and explanations that can make learning more dynamic, especially for students who need different ways to understand the material. However, I also believe there’s a risk if we use them without checking how accurate they are. Some of these books or websites don’t follow the official TOEFL format, which can lead to confusion. That’s why I think it’s important to always compare them with the official materials from ETS.  This comparison also fosters critical thinking, as students learn to question the quality and purpose of the resources they use. By doing so, we can take the best of both worlds, useful practice from alternative sources and trustworthy guidance from the official ones.
