In my point of view, use different editorials to increase our knowledge about the TOEFL is risky because, although they offer extra practice and are usually easy to access, they often don’t focus on what is truly needed for the exam. The materials and information they present are usually not at the same level, and the content often contains mistakes and fails to reflect the real context of the TOEFL. Therefore, if we want to improve, we need to rely on official materials. The problem is that these are harder to access, but they help us develop critical thinking aligned with the real test. To sum up, alternative editorials can be helpful, but they don’t reach the required level for the exam. They work as additional practice, but they should not be used as a replacement for official resources.
