I can definitely relate to this because I myself have found that I often make generalizations based on my very limited experiences but I didn’t realize how risky it was. I also started to think more critically about statistics how they can be convincing but also can be misleading if the data is flawed. What the author mentioned about teaching us how analogies work reminded me, I found that I too often use them and now see how risky that can be if the comparison is not accurate. And most of all, it reminded me to check the credibility of my sources before I use them on an argument.
