Induction reasoning is fundamental to critical thinking in my perception as it allows us to draw inferences from particular observations, although such inferences are not certain ones. It is my view that things such as random examples with a bigger size and a statistical approach help in the general reliability of the inferences; besides, statistical reasoning also increases the plausibility of the conclusions by solidifying them with evidence. Nevertheless, caution should be exercised when it comes to using analogies since they may be faulty in case scenarios are not really similar. Being very selective about the sources is a sure way of avoiding fallacies and thus bring out the necessary credibility for further arguments. Equally as important as that is the skill of arranging the ideas in the paper coherently and the technique of not using any of the frequent logical errors. Moreover, presenting counterarguments can be one of the ways of increasing argument strength.
