Analyzing arguments leads us to think clearly and transmit our ideas better. Precise language has an important role in communication because when we are clear with our arguments everyone will be able to understand us. It is also important to mention that emotive language can twist the way people see an argument because they're influenced by feelings instead of facts. This is why fallacies can appear like attacking the person instead of the idea (ad hominem) or jumping to conclusions without enough evidence. However, to avoid or control these fallacies we can practice diagramming arguments to see how ideas connect and whether they really support the conclusion.
