I agree with you andrea, using precise language and clear definitions helps people understand the arguments and avoid confusion. Emotive words can affect our thinking and lead us to make mistakes like attacking others or using flimsy evidence. For example, saying “taxes are theft” makes people angry instead of thinking clearly. We can diagram arguments to see how the reasons support a conclusion. Also, summarizing and paraphrasing helps us explain long arguments simply.
