Make eye contact

Example: If someone is in love, they would try to capture their special person's attention through making eye contact.

Description: When a person looks directly into the eyes of the individual they are talking to.

Interpretation: It's meaning can change depending on the context. For example: profound interest in what the other person is saying, as well as confidence, honesty, respect, or even dominance or physical/emotional attraction.


Clench fists

Example: It is commonly used when something unfair is happening in front of someone's eyes, and they are unable to do anything to help.

Description: When an individual makes a fist and squeezes their fingers tightly.

Interpretation: Through this body language, they convey powerlessness and anger.


Wink

Example: When a boy is flirting with a girl, he may wink at her to show he is interested in her.

Description: A quick blink in one of the person's eyes, often accompanied by a smile so the other person can see it.

Interpretation: It is generally used in romantic scenarios. When there is a profound connection between two individuals, they could easily use it to convey agreement, closeness, and intimacy. It’s essentially an unspoken understanding.


Give a big hug

Example: When someone is crying, their friends would give them a big hug to show support and deep love.

Description: Placing both arms around another person’s body.

Interpretation: In Latin America, it is commonly used with friends and family, and sometimes even with strangers, to show support, empathy, but most of all, love.


Gaze into the distance

Example: When someone is in trouble, they may gaze into the distance, trying to make up their mind.

Description: When someone looks far away with a thoughtful, dreamy, or emotional expression, often lost in memories or deep in thought.

Interpretation: It conveys nostalgia, sadness, joy, or daydreaming.
