You will give a short spoken presentation where you describe a movie and explain why (or why not) you recommend it. This will help you practice your speaking, descriptive, and persuasive skills in English.
Choose a Movie:
Pick a movie you’ve watched and know well.
It can be any genre (action, comedy, drama, animation, etc.).
Make sure it is appropriate for a classroom setting.
Prepare a 2–4 Minute Presentation:
Include the following points:
A. Introduction
State the title of the movie.
Mention the genre and the main actors or director (optional).
B. Description
Briefly summarize the plot (without giving away spoilers!).
Describe the setting and main characters.
Mention what makes the movie interesting or unique.
C. Recommendation
Say whether you recommend the movie or not.
Give at least two reasons to support your opinion (e.g., acting, storyline, message, music, visual effects).
Mention the type of audience that might enjoy it (e.g., kids, teens, people who love action, etc.).
D. Conclusion
End with a short final comment or rating (e.g., "I give it 4 out of 5 stars").
Use Visual Aids (Optional):
You may bring a printed poster or show a movie image on your phone or laptop (no trailers or clips during the presentation).
Practice Your Speaking:
Speak clearly and confidently.
Avoid reading too much from your notes.
Try to make eye contact with your audience.
